I've noticed a new problem after installing the Anniversary Update for Windows 10.
If I enable Process Power Management in Windows and set Minimum Processor state to 5% so that it saves power and lowers the clock when idle, the system starts to freeze which eventually leads to a BSOD with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.
BOSD details:

I've tried to troubleshoot the problem using
this guide, but didn't find the root case.
Analyzing the performance log for the slow DPCs didn't reveal any patterns.
I have all the latest drivers and the latest BIOS in R5E (3301). Disabling OC doesn't affect this behavior.
Before the Anniversary Update the system was rock solid (even with 3301 BIOS). Power management worked fine and the system didn't freeze.
The problem started only during update installation (I've managed to install the update after 5 attempts since the same BSOD caused failed updates and rollbacks to the previous build).
Relevant drivers I have installed:
ITBM_driver_V1_0_0_1025.zip
MEI_Consumer_V11051189.zip
Intel_Chipset_V101219.zip
Any ideas what I can try to tweak in order to fix it? If the issue persists, I may consider rolling back to the previois Windows 10 build.
P.S. Full performance mode could only mask the issue with some of the drivers (excessive DPCs are handled at full performance, but causing issue when power saving).
