svid support adaptive voltage

im playing with my overclock recently and at svid support it says: disable when overclocking. if i disable it i get a bluescreen at boot. what i understand is:
if i set it to disabled, the bios disables adaptive voltage too and the cpu picks the voltage itself again trough VID right? so even though i am overclocking it has to be on auto/enabled if my voltage is set to adaptive, right?
just wondering 🙂

Hi Minsekt

You are absolutely 100% correct, let svid support enabled when using adaptive mode.

is this the case with Z270 chipset as well?
auto/enable for adaptive and disable it when manual overclocking?
