Try this. Seems to have helped me.

    Open "Device Manager"
    Under the heading "Bluetooth".
    select "Bluetooth USB module".
    Click on "Properties" and then
    "Power management" and then UNCHECK
"Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power".

Haven't tested this thoughly, but I have managed to connect
and no crashes yet - but it's only been an hour

Let me know if it does anything for you.

    Cheers.

    Hey there,

Okay I have tried the various things suggested here with no success. I have NOT updated to BIOS 1001 yet....
Nothing else is working including removing all the Asus Suite drivers and loading them in one at a time.

None of my bluetooth devices are being recognized.

    Does 1001 fix the issues?

This is the link but it still isn't working for me.

I'd love someone for Asus to let me know what to do. I uninstalled everything, restarted, installed it, restarted. I'm still just getting the searching for device with nothing happening.

    http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/...771.1472301470

Did all this again and what was interesting was after the second install I went and did an "update" driver and it updated but still nothing was fixed. So I'm not sure what is going on.

I have done everything BUT a full format and reinstall. I would do it if I could be guarnteed it would work but....

I have completely uninstalled the Broadcom and bluetooth devices and programs. Removed all their directories that I could find. Installed both the original Bluetooth and new drivers.

My phone sees my wireless controller I'm trying to pair, but the computer sees neither.

How about some help here Asus? When I installed the new drivers I see some files being copied but it takes like 2 seconds and done. Even when I try to do a fresh install.

The problem is if I remove everything that is Bluetooth, the moment I restart the computer, Windows 10 installs it's version. How can I stop it if I NEED to use the Asus one?

BTW, all this works on my Asus G751JT laptop using Bluetooth and Windows 10 Anniversary Update. It works on my Asus Formula z97 machine. Just not the Asus Rampage Extreme Edition 10

I noticed after it is all installed the only thing I'm seeing installed is the Broadcom Corporation Bluetooth driver 6/25/2015 v. 12.0.1.650. Basically the same thing I had already.

I've tried installing it through the Asus setup, the WIN 10 Asus setup and just the Setup.exe ... (sigh)

I have also tried Qualcomm BT driver and the Intel one.. No joy on any of these.

When I installed the Asus version, I did an 'update' driver as well and it installed the 12.0.1.658. Neither works.

*EDIT* Okay I uninstalled the Bluetooth device. Installed the Asus version. It says files copied but nothing has come over. I don't think this driver does anything.

    Raja??

    Asus is abandoning us completely.

SupremeFX is broken, Bluetooth is broken, ans Asus is silent, not even one simple apology note saying they're taking care of it and trying to solve the problem at soon as they can...

And my bank account is 625€ short... Six-HUNDRED-and-TWENTY-FIVE EUROS
I regret so much to have chosen the Asus and not the MSI Godlike carbon...

To be fair, I have heard some awful stuff about the MSI Godlike Carbon.... similar horror stories.

Basically Asus makes these great big, badass boards but because they carry a premium price, they don't get as many users to help them after the item is created. Asus boards like the Deluxe and the x99-a are far more stable and get more updates because there is much more input from the public.

We are all basically beta testers for Asus. That being said, they have a little better record with this one as the R5E is pretty much the same board.

Of course $850 CAD is a bullet I'd like to reconsider at times when suddenly my Bluetooth isn't working and I'm basically left with having to get a bluetooth dongle for my $850 board....
