I'm guessing they're waiting for Windows Patch Tuesday (second Tuesday of every month). This is when Microsoft usually releases larger bug fixes.
Given how awful the Windows 10 AU update has been, this is likely to be larger than usual.
After that, Asus will probably release a new Bios, drivers etc. based on what is still not working after the new patches.

At least I hope this is the case anyway. Next patch Tuesday is 12 September I think. So not long to wait...

    ^ THIS!

Truthfully, I just regret buying this because I'm now supporting this practice of theirs. I'm actually considering returning my RE10 for a much cheaper EVGA board just for how great their support is.

    Totally agree.

But now the piece of hardware is sitting in our case, and something must be done. How about... Create a subreddit called... Asus Rampage V Edition 10 angry customers? A FB page with the same name + a twitter account and explain to everybody how abandoned we are? We can create a statement and publicly send this to every single hardware news media around... I'm pretty sure we'll have many user's and media attention.

I'm seriously considering to do that. A domain costs 2€ so, would be easy even to have our own domain.

    Anybody?

PM me if have some ideas.

    Enough!

Well I tried a fresh reinstallation of Windows 10 Anniversary edition on a new SSD.

I loaded it up and loaded up only the wifi and the bluetooth drivers. The wifi works fine, the bluetooth does not. Same thing as before, endless searching for devices.

Asking again Raja... you work on this stuff. What do we do?

Did some testing for you guys today.

I downloaded the latest Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft (well, latest for my region lol) and did a fresh Windows installation. Then I proceeded to load the Bluetooth driver from the USB pendrive that comes with the Rampage V Edition 10. I managed to pair up my cellphone just fine. I would love to test other Bluetooth devices for you guys but unfortunately the only device that I own that has Bluetooth is my cellphone.

Apparently Bluetooth is working fine on Windows 10. For testing purposes, I wasn't even on the latest Windows build. If you guys are still having problems pairing up your devices, maybe they are not compatible with Windows 10 or the Broadcom controller. Or perhaps your device needs a firmware update.

With all due respect but a Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller is most definitely compatible with Windows. Even my Nexus 6P picks it up.

I have tried the following other devices:

    Logitech Harmony Smart Keyboard
    Sony DS4 controller
    Jaybird Bluebuds X
    JBL Flip
    Nexus 6P (Huawei)
    Nexus 5X (LG)
    Nexus 6 (Motorola)

ALL of these devices work just fine on all my other BT receivers, including my 5 year old ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe motherboard running Windows 10 AE.

I have tried all available ASUS drivers, and even the latest Broadcom drivers.

I've tried doing a fresh install.

WiFi works just fine. Bluetooth picks up NOTHING.

Best to get BT drivers from chip makers website .
Asus appears to have lot of software bugs with rampage 5 overall in my opinion , maybe it rarer and get less atention idk.

    https://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth
Try from broadcomm website win 10 drivers instead of asus driver site.
For laptops broadcom ones usually work better than vendors drivers.

I too did a fresh install and installed the BT drivers directly from the stick with zero success.

I was able to install this on my Asus laptop which runs Win 10 (same version) using the same devices and on another computer with an Asus motherboard.

The problem is NOT with the devices, nor Windows 10, but with either the RVE10 or the wireless/BT device. My guess it is the 'drivers' since it was working pre-anniversary update.

BTW, I did install the INTEL, Broadcom and Qualcomm BT drivers trying each one. All failed. Such a big fail.

Marketing of rog is not bad , hopefully there will be also as good programming as marketing department creating brand.
It is sad that asus have relased (bugged/properly untesteed) software for decent hardware.
Since most product reviewers dont appear to test around enough to encounter problems or wont talk too much, it is hard to know what exactly you are getting.
Can only hope that software problems get fix, before product is discontinued or it´l remain unstable hardware that only shines on outer layers.
From shareholders or corporate perspective it may seem better strategy to put effort in marketing and new products instead of refining/finishing previous ones.....
Only time can show if marketing is stronger than research of people.

The problem is that Asus knows that we would rather go buy a $15 bluetooth -> USB dongle than to take a Motherboard out of our system, send it in for an RMA (which probably won't fix anything and the repair center will send it back with a bill saying 'nothing is wrong') or return it to the store (if we can) for a refund.

They know they already have our money and that we won't make too much of a stink and if we do? Who cares? How many people are going to see our words and decide, "Darn i was going to buy that MB but now after reading this, nope!" If there was a single person I'd be amazed.

The people that come here and read a thread like this are people who already have the MB and are experiencing the same issue. There might be a few 'shoppers' but that number is so small it doesn't even register to Asus' bottom line.

Btw you are using the Broadcom driver that ends 650. I have tried that one and the newer one that ends 658. Still no go.
