So I just purchased a G752 with a 980m and I noticed that if I set gsync on I am still getting tearing in some games.

You must be on the latest nvidia drivers right?
Just cause 3 also have this issues.

go to nvidia control panel and enable v sync there.
Vsync + Gsync on in Nvidia control panel. Problem solved.

Yea I'm on the newest drivers, I'll give the vsync a try. I did notice that in World of warcraft if I capped fps to 74 it still tears but at 70 capped it dont.

Last nVidia driver 372.54 is unreliable and affected by a number of issues: revert to old 368.81 or 368.95 hotfix.

what issues are people experiencing?

Read the thread link (last pages mainly): many issues with many games (crashes, performance issues, DX12 issues, gfx artifacts or options not working anymore in-game, G-Sync not working, SLI issues etc. etc.)
For example Gamebryo Bethesda old games like FallOut3 or Oblivion will crash and have gfx issue (missing projected shadows etc.)... I myself noticed the issues in Oblivion.

Stay with 368.81 or 368.95 hotfix ATM.

P.S.
The funny thing is it's labeled just as a routine "Game Ready" driver...

So g-synch must be turned on manually?

I thought its automatic...

No... G sync will be on automatically. Problem is the driver.

reverted drivers, now everything works. Can't believe they release this.

Thanks I'm going to try this now. I got tearing to stop but now am expecting stuttering every so often in combat.
