G73jk display driver problems

Hello all,

So I am having a problem with my display driver not letting me open my "steam" applications for games. Everytime I install the ati display drivers steam opens, shows connecting to my account but then never actually starts up after that. Whenever I delete the display driver steam works perfectly fine. Has anyone ever had this issue before?
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi there,
Please try to clean install the correct latest driver for your GPU.

if you're using win8/8.1/10 please DISCONNECT THE INTERNET (WIFI/ETH) during the hole following process
1st, Uninstall ANY remnants of your GPU drivers using AMD own tool and then DDU and reboot after each app use.
2nd, get the latest driver FOR YOUR GPU MODEL from AMD OFFICIAL SITE ( NOT FROM ASUS SUPPORT !!! ), install it and reboot ( reminder the internet should be DISCONNECTED )
3rd, try to see if the issue resolved -> if not this is STEAM related issue and I suggest you discouss that @steam official forums.
