Compatibility Issues between Sonic Studio (Strix DLX) and various applications

Hi everyone! 🙂

Sadly some application-functions like the activation-option of Norton Security, Guild Wars II Launcher, MathLAB 2016 etc. seems to fail starting while Sonic Studio is running (doesn't matter if background or foreground)
As soon as Sonic Studio is closed and removed from the Tray everything goes back to normal.

I found out, that Sonic Studio uses technology from Nahimic (Dlls) and they updated their Framework several times adressing these issues.

Nahimic 2 driver 2.2.11 is now available!

This version fixes the antivirus compatibility issues.
You can download it here: https://www.dropbox.com/…/n0v2gm…/AAC9hCiFu_P57Wj6T96kNZB1a…

Changelog:
- Fix of compatibility issues with Norton, Kaspersky, Avira and Guanija.qq
- Improved global acoustic experience
- Microphone boost can now be adjusted after plugging the microphone
- First launch of Edge has audio effects as expected
- When setting to 5.1 output, channel gain settings has normal behavior
- Smart Loudness is now available for all modes
- The current profile is correctly saved after an update
- Some wording corrections in the UI

This driver is for Realtek only.

Maybe updating that framework/implementation would solve much more issues for a lot of customers (all users of SonicStudio)
Hopefully there'll be a fix soon 🙂

Thanks &
All the best

I have the Strix Soar with installed driver 1.1.7.

Strix Sonic Studio definitively requires Smart EQ/Loudness/Volume or similar because it is a chore to adjust the volume continuously even within the same application or game, such as between menus and actual gameplay. Even the onboard Realtek solution's Sonic Studio II has it!

But not Strix Sonic Studio!

Please ASUS add this feature!!!!
