Hi guys,

I just bought a Samsung 850 EVO - 500GB - M.2 SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-N5E500BW) and can't install it in my ASUS G752VL-DH71. The BIOS (G752VLAS219) don't even recognize it. I really could use some help here. Thank you very much.

Yes, same happend to me with Samsung SSD 850 Series 1TB on my 4 months old GX700 and my BIOS is so limited that I even can't do anything with it... 😞

Check for anomalies in you BIOS settings under SATA controllers. Ive had one 500 GB in my G751JL, 1TB in G751JY and G752VY from the day I bought them. Its the boot drive in the JL and extra storage in the other two. Also running two 1TB in Raid zero on my new M8E build for storage.

That's bad situation because they are popular and cheap. For G752 I would first go on 960 PRO M.2 512GB + 850 EVO 1TB.
When I installed 850 EVO 1TB on Rampage V Extreme BIOS regonized him immediately only I need to format him before use.
But if BIOS can't recognize that's not good sign.
