I've disabled bluetooth in the bios now and bought this $19 USB Bluetooth dongle.
It works better than the motherboard version ever did (which is sad considering how much I spent on the motherboard!).

If Asus ever get around to updating the Bluetooth, wireless drivers for Edition 10 I'll try again later.

    Fixed

Lucky I didn't RMA the board! I physically unplugged the power cables from the motherboard and then reattached - and suddenly my Bluetooth immediately reappeared.
Now seems to be working perfectly. I actually wasn't trying to fix, was installing something else. So close to giving up on edition 10 for Bluetooth and other reasons., so I guess I'll be sticking with it awhile longer...

I gave up on the bluetooth using the wireless that came with the board. It is simply unusable. The one time out of 10 reboots my device gets recognized, it consistently cuts out.
This is pretty sad for such an expensive motherboard and Asus has 1. not acknowledged it is an issue 2. not shown any desire to get it fixed.

So I too bought a $20 dongle. This is a real shame as I love this motherboard, but as usual this is how Asus is.

Found a solution that worked for me:
In the device manager, I just clicked on the unknown usb thing, deactivated it and activated it again. Tadaa Bluetooth was back online.

Hope this helps for you guys.
