    H110 CPU Fan error

    Hello,
I have installed Corsair H110 on my new ROG Rampage IV Black Edition. I have connected the pump to the CPU_FAN. When I start the computer it says: CPU Fan Error. My CPU Q-FAN Control is "Enabled", CPU Fan Speed Low Limit is set to "600 RPM". Do I need to change Fan Speed Low Limit to "ignore" to fix the error?
    Thank you in advance.

Hi K.!.x ....when you start up, have you put your hand on the pump block to see if it is working? It might be the pump is not working? if the tubes next to the block start to feel warm then the H100 has a problem. the pump is connected to the molex for power? and the fans to the pump block...

The H110 should be plugged into the cpu fan header & you should disable any Q fan cpu fan control. If you get no reading from the cpu fan header with the h110 plugged into it, you probably have a defective H110 & should shut your rig down before you toast your cpu.

The H110 is supposed to be plugged into your CPU fan header & it will give you a read-out of the pump RPMs. If it is not reading any RPMs the H110 may be defective & you should shut down your rig. The only thing you might want to check is that CPU Q fan control is disabled.

    The H110 should read +/- 1500RPMs.

Correct, the reading is for the pump not the fans. Are you sure it is the right connector?

I know this is an old post but I came across it using google. I installed the H110i this evening on my Maximus Hero VII, well I turn my pc on, the fans are not spinning and the LED on the pump is also not on. I also recieve the no cpu fan error. If I plug the fans into my mother board they do come on so I know the fans are good.
Was this your issue as well or did you have power to your hardware just the error?

Did you connect a SATA power cable to the unit? That's how it gets its power.
