Like so many forum users here, I also experienced the restart/shut down bug associated with, at least to my knowledge, the Ranger and Hero boards, maybe others, and the Z series of sound cards from Creative.

Does anybody have experience with any of these boards and the external Sound Blaster X G5 and know whether this combination would exhibit similar behaviour/problems?
