Hi
I see several post's about upgrade G20AJ, where i can take some ideas and advices, but what i want to do is upgrade and increase graphics and global performance, with changing to Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 / 1070 / 1060 or GTX980 (or other specific model with more or less the same characteristics), but I’m a beginner and i don’t know if i have to change more components, like new power supply, and perhaps a extra disc SSD and increase the memory from 12GB to 16GB.
I want have sure all these changes will work well and without have problems.

The principal use i give to my PC are games, but principally SIM RACING CAR, and want install 3 monitors (now i only have one), also have connect and installed all the equipments, wheel and wheel base, pedals, gear-shifting, dashboards, buttkicker.

It’s easy do this change of Graphic card?

Characteristics PC now
Asus ROG G20AJ (PT010S)
Intel® Core™ i7-4790 Quad-Core
3,6 GHz (Turbo 4GHz) – 8MB
12 GB - DDR3L-1600
1 TB
NVIDIA® GeForce™ GTX 750 - Intel® HD Graphics - 1GB DDR5
Sonic Master 7.1
Multi Drive

To the question is it easy to open up a computer and change the hardware my answer would be that it depends on how much experience you have of this. Some make it work and others dont.I built one of my computers from parts (The Bulldog) and it has more power than i use but its fun for sure.In my G20CB who was ready from Asus i changed the GPU from GTX 980 to a GTX 1080 and it works great.Next stop will be a change of the CPU from i7-6700 3.4Ghz to a i7-6700K 4.0Ghz, if it could take the heat.Of course i also feel the doubt sometimes and most when i deal with fabric ready computers and dont want to mess them up.If you feel insecure of open up the case try to find some how to do videos about this who already is out there.Good Luck. 🙂
