    Stunning
Would be nice to see a working solution for 1060 or even 1080

Planning on doing this with my G75vw, wanna run 1 1060 or even a 1070.

Is there any bios limitations or is it only limited by drivers ?!

    Edit:
Nvidia win 10 driver 361.75 seems to work with 1000-series graphic card
    Have u tryed that?

    Cool Works quit well

if not uninstall main video drivers after connection egpu you can get black screen meanwhile windows works fine (have to go in safe mode in blind for uninstalling drivers)

Plug'n'play main card choose in the Nvidia control panel

Son-of-a..... I bought a 1050ti specifically in hopes of doing this exact thing. *sigh*

I hope the drivers have been fixed.

I was wondering if this is possible for my G75VW which seems to have a dead GPU.

If this can work then I guess I've found a better solution than replacing the GPU(which is in a set with the board for some reason)

can you give me some Ideas where I went wrong, because I have installed my 1060 6gb graphics card already but with an external screen the one from the laptop seems to be missing, is not being recognized by the graphics card.

Note: I already took out my 670 graphics card to see I that action forced the eGPU to connect to the laptop screen, but that didn't happen. I jus want to use my 1060 graphics card with my laptop screen, pleasseee It's to much to ask?

Hello everyone , can i ask , if anyone thought to connect the dongle to the DVD sata slot using "DVD to M.2 NGFF Caddy" , should it work ..... how about speed restrictions ?
I'm planning to do it too ..... but that WIFI mPCIe is in bad location , i'm thinking about other options ......
