    G74sx hitting 95 degrees.

Hi, my asus g74sx is hitting around 95 degrees when I'm playing games, before it used to hit around 85 degrees and after cpu throttling would come in to effect but some reason I dont remember disabling it(i dont even know how to) it won't work and cpu keeps hitting super high temps, I use HWinfo to monitor temps and it used to say sometimes Thermal throttling - YES but now it doesnt at all, how can I enable it again? and is there I can set up a max temperature for CPU? like around 75 degrees, I don't mind the peformance hit.

    Thanks

I don't want to stop throttling, I want to lower temps, 95 degree celcius cant be good right? And I don't asus rog gaming programs, none of that crap, I did do a clean install of windows 10.

The bios the seems to have a temp limit for throttling that it allows you do edit, and I did set it to 87 degrees but it doesnt work, temps cross that limit and under thermal throttling in hwinfo, it says NO, it never comes into play.

Easy and fast way: set cpu to 99% in power settings in windows. It'll prevent trubo. But you wont use the cpu potencial

Best way: Use ThrottleStop or XTU and undervolt. Temps will reduce and you'll use potencial of cpu.
