What is the additional 128 SSD for when there is also a 1TB 7200 HDD?

Sorry I am asking such a stupid question but my laptop, the ASUS ROG GL502VY-DS71 has the 1TB 7200 RPM HDD as well as a 128 GB SSD.

Now, I am looking under "My PC," only the 1TB HDD is showing. Where did the 128GB SSD go? What is the 128GB SSD for? Please let me know. THanks

The SSD is generally for your operating system.

Did it the SSD come with the PC or did you install it yourself?

Open Diskmgmt and see if it's listed there, it might need to be formatted, then use any disk copy too to copy your OS to it and format your old drive.

If it's not listed your BIOS might need to be updated for it to detect the SSD.
