ASUS GTX1080 Strix OC LED issues

It's been verified. The issue is due to LEDs limitation. That's why you don't see a clean white color.

Thank you. But what makes me wonder is why the Strix logo itself is white and can display all RGB colours correctly including nice white colour, and RoG logo and LEDs around fans are violet. My corsair H100i water pump LED are RGB as well and they can display true white and other colours without problems. So I dont think it is due to LED limitations. Strix logo kn top of card would be violet as well, wouldnt it?

The GPU has been accepted for RMA - looks like this is a GPU fault. Shame, as great GPU otherwise. Please close the thread

Hi, two days ago I received my 1080 OC and I am having some problems with AURA lighting - all colours seem to be ok, apart from white. The Republic of gamers logo + all LEDs underneath (around fans) are pink/violet, the STRIX logo itself is white, and one LED under backplate is locked to green - please see photo.
I am getting three different colours when white LED is chosen... I am some kind of disappointed as this was supposed to be all white LED rig build. Instead of all white I am getting all three different colours...

P.S. I've just checked other colours - the LED which shows in green when set to white, is also stuck in green in orange, yellow and cyan colours. Not happy at all. I suspect a faulty LED. What do you think guys?

hi im despretly seaking help. i just got new hardware and a new case. my ROG Strix GTX 1080 non 08 non titan just base 8gb model. the LED ROG on the back plate lights up. the strip just barely lights up to the words republick of gamers on the top of the card lights up but very dimly.

I have the same issue. I cannot get white, it's always a shade of violet. My LEDs along the top(?) (fan side) aren't all the same color. If I choose blue it's a gradient from light blue to blue.

Mam Strix 1070 and if I choose the green color all the diodes are green and it is so all the colors ... it can not be one diode bila and the other ruzova ... if yes it is certain error GK .. this could happen in case of use two software ...
