Upgrading g20aj gpu to 1050 ti

Hey, i've got a g20aj with a gtx 750 and after seeing the new gtx 1050 ti come out for so cheap i thought it might be a good idea to upgrade. I was just wondering if i need to get the secondary power supply, currently i have the 230 watt supply, and from what i could gather from the gpu specs the 1050 ti only takes 20 more watts. Would the 230 watt supply be enough?

yeah the gtx 1050ti will pull the power it needs via the pci-e line, so the 230watts will be good enough for the graphics card

Would having the 230w + 180w make it run better/smoother? Do you need to do anything with the jumper cables?
