ASUSRogAuraService

Hi everybody,

Just another oddity I observed with the RV10 and Asus software:

When my system idles I noticed that the ASUSRogAuraService (RGB related service I guess) sucks up around 10% CPU time - which is pretty darn herfty (1 core at full load!?) imao for a 6950@4.2Ghz even considering that I disabled _every_ RGB there is/I am able to...
As soon as I disable this service temps drop ~5°C and my electricity bill is also reduced by a considerable amount I guess...

Wondered if anybody experienced the same issue.

P.S.: Also the usual mubo jambo: Newest drivers, reinstalled, fresh Win10 install etc. etc.

Yes. I noticed the same thing and uninstalled it. No issue now with eating CPU cycles. I never really changed anything in the lighting scheme, so it was no big deal to me. I really didn't like it running in the background like that.

If it is a solid colour it doesn't take up anything. 🙂

Then the best recommendation is to uninstall the program. 🙂

Ofc you are right Chino, but that does not fix the problem of the software being somewhat defunct, that's why I brought the topic up in the first place. 🙂

Noticed a Beta Version*1.03.48 out on the download page. Anyone tried it to see if it has the same problem?
