GL502VS Discharging while Plugged-in

It is, in fact, strange.
Because what usually occurs when the power supply is not enough is Power Throttling.

This happens in my GL502VMK (GTX 1060) due to excessive heat in the power supply, as it is Summer time.

So mine does not go for the battery, but sometimes I wish it did so I would not have throwing during a game

3) Battlefield 1 for 3 hours - 100% to 73%
4) Chrome, Intel XTU, MSI Afterburner, Plex Media Server, ESET Smart Security, Corsair Utility Engine, Logitech Gaming Software

For myself I decided it was too risky to send my machine back for the ASUS RMA process. The technical support people didn't really understand the issue, and I'm travelling in a week.

Running HWInfo 64 in background to measure battery monitoring.*

Does it ever go below 90%? If it doesn't then that is normal. The discharging within 10% is the normal design and of this notebook and this current version of the BIOS which overall helps extend the battery lifespan. If it drops below 90% while plugged in then that's not normal and what we're trying to target. If you have any occurrences where it drops below 90% while plugged in then please provide that.

Yes, when I did my test the battery dropped to 83% (and kept dropping).

3) No Man Sky's for 3 hours - 100% to 86%
4) steam, logitech game sofware, 1 extra monitor , 1 hdd with external PSS, gaming keyboard and mouse

I email to the support. They say i should send my laptop for repair. But reading this thread I don't think thats going to resolve the probleem. Should I take the risk and send it?

Played Assassin's Creed Syndicate for about an hour on ultra. Battery drain brought me down to 94% while plugged in.

I'm on 302. I have a 230watt power supply with a 5.5mm adapter. It still discharges. It doesn't if I undervolt (reduced power limit actually) via afterburner with custom curve ala seaspray.
