    Seems like they might be doing something, they asked me to please upload poof of purchase to which I am OCD about keeping records so that was no problem...

    If they were to give you an option of getting a new laptop or something, that would be awesome. Just know though that the 7th Gen GL502VS is experiencing the same issue for some people and as cl-Albert stated, HQ is not acknowledging the issue.

    Well a refund would just pay for a new laptop on another brand then, now I got to figure out what brand...

    That would be great for you for sure. It just sucks since ASUS gaming laptops are pretty awesome. Just a note if you have to go that route. Any laptop that has the Max-Q series of video cards, you have to go up one model to stay at the same performance level of a regular card. For example, the Max-Q 1080 perform very slightly above a 1070 normal laptop card. The Max-Q 1070 performs slightly better than a 1060 normal laptop card. Bad Nvidia, Bad... lol

    I am currently going through RMA and my laptop is out of warranty. The rep on the phone said the repair could cost upwards of $600+. Has anyone in similar situation had to pay for the repair?
