Where did you find this new update? from Asus Support Downloads for your specific Notebook? I would uninstall it and reinstall the ATK package from the link asus support downloads

Looks easier to just revert to your last restore point...should be back up and running in 5-10mins.

Forget it... this "driver" package is much deeper... it inc many "BIOS" equivalent files...
just extract the zip to get the exe -> extract it again using 7zip -> enter the ".rsrc\1028\" folder -> extract all the *TOOL* files using 7zip... you'll see you're messing FW/BIOS level stuff.

For anyone who install this "driver" and got corrupt/"brick" laptop... you need to contact ASUS and ask for a solution.
IMHO, I don't think a solution will come from the community as a change of SPECIAL FW/BIOS is needed.
AFAI understand it, using winflash to reflash/update bios might NOT solve the issue as the laptop contains MANY EEPROMs, and this "ASUS Keyboard Adjustment Tool" might change other EEPROM, other then the "regular bios".

CONTACT ASUS ASAP OR OPEN RMA CASE - that's your best chance right now.
