Asus ROG G751 is not grounded or earthed: big security concern

The Asus ROG G751 has a big problem: it's not earthed. The power supply does not provide grounding because the negative (-) of the powering cable is not shorted to the earth pins in the mains adapter. That means that the chassis of the computer and all the usb/vga/hdmi/thunderbolt ports are floating.

This is a big security concern because several relative volts can be present on the chassis and cause electromagnetic issues, net current circulation included through the body on the user.

Since the power supply transformer output is isolated, can't be done directly on the power cable. Then it is recommended to use the "ground" casing of any USB port for that matter. It is explained properly on any of these videos:

your description is not quite right
1. (-) is not supposed to be grounded
2. asus laptop did have some grounding issues which explain why some people feel minor electrical shock when they tough the metal part of the laptop; it is caused by poor grounding
