Opolar Laptop Cooler
One thing that I'm going to try is this laptop cooler:

I think that this should probably work better than altering our laptops. The reviews are solid, can anyone comment on the efficiency of this if you own it, vs what we are trying so far?

I've seen people say they were unable to fit the Opolar LC06 to their GL702VM. I've heard the Klim vacuum coolers fit the rear vent and work well but if the LC06 fits I may look into picking one of those up.

no no no
No, no, no, no..... This can't be happening....
I bought the gl502vt less than 1 year ago, in the USA.
These days the battery light started blinking orange/green after playing CS: GO for a while. When I turn off and turn the computer back on, everything seems to be normal again. Until I play again. The problem repeats. I have not received any warnings about overheating or any other.
Regarding my use: I would say it is normal. During the day I use programs like Word and Excel - work period - and at night - almost every night - I play CS: GO or FS for 3-4 hours. Always, before playing, I open Asus Rog Gaming Center to turn off applications like Google Drive. Obs: When I play CSGO, the fans looks like is going to fly... It makes a very loud fan noise (just saying that looks like it is not normal). Could you - OR ANYONE - help me out? Thank you very much..
UPDATE: Now the sensor of the battery seems to not work at all... stays at 98% even after 1hrs of use..
Thinking about a refund..

With the opolar on from cold start, set to 13 (100%)
After removing it, playing for approximately 5 minutes
Put back on, running at 100%
So, what seems to be the best thing to do is keep it running from a cold start, at 100%. It seems that if the laptop heats up even once, it has a really hard time staying cool. To be fair, it did cool my system a bit, just not nearly as much as I thought it would have. I'm going to try and let it cool down and then play again to see if I can keep the temps down. I will post with an update.
