World of Warcraft at 10, DSR 4.0x and Smoothness 100%
62C on GPU Max and 65C on CPU Max.
    Can barely hear the fans.

Drill holes under fan to allow proper airflow. I suggest no larger than 8mm. (I went larger)
    Center hole and surrounding.

    I repasted with GELID Extreme

I play at those fan speeds with no secondary coolers at all. UV is shown in screen shot with 102.5 FSB. Stable No issues.

    Boost Curve also displayed.

In any game I have tested, period for 3 hours+ of gameplay is under 78C CPU and 76C GPU.

Doom was around 65C GPU and 73CPU 130-190 fps Ultra with DSR 4.00x and 100% Smoothness

    Yup, its awesome.

I have just updated to the latest 305 bios and my temps have dropped and fan noise has reduced. I am back at 100% processor state and stock voltages.

I just did the same, what are your gain in temp?

This is also with the latest BIOS 303 released today. The system idles around 34C with both Opolars set on 2.

I have the exact same model and I was wondering how PUBG would perform on it. I was afraid that if even a game like overwatch would give me hi temps, pubg would be impossible.

What fps do you get on what settings if I may ask? Also, what temp do you think you'd get if only using the cooler master notepal? I don't really like those opolar fans for some reason.

I've undervolted the cpu with bout .120mv and put max power at 99%. Have noticed some gains but still runs hotter than i'd like.

    Cheers

First of all sorry for some error in last post. I meant to say that I already tried undervolting using different values ranging from -0.005 v to -0.150 v and still my laptop keeps crashing (blue screen) on me. Sometimes I would successfully run a full 10 to 15 minutes stress test using XTU or Prime95 with no errors using the range of values from -0.005 v to -0.150 v but after a while on idle laptop crashes (blue screen). I really don't understand why this is happening to me since it seems most of people with same model who tried this worked for them. Once again to illustrate, I have a GL502VM with a Skylake i7-6700HQ CPU running OS Windows 10 Home edition installed on a NVME PCIE SSD. The OS and drivers are up to date. I am using the latest Intel XTU.

Can someone please help me with solve my issue here.
I see. I heard somewhere that the kaby lake models are good to undervolt starting from .100v. So thats -0.100v. For the 6th gen model im not so sure. I remember it was a bit different you should look up a guide. I keep mine around 115. HWinfo detects a 118mv undervolt. If the blue screen continues it might be because you have two conflicting utility programs running? Maybe you recently used Throttlestop and intelXU? I really don't know what could be the cause.

I read somewhere that the 6700hq should withstand up to -0.150 and the 7700hq around -0.120. It might be a software related issue, it seems

personally my 7700HQ cannot go under -110. And by that i mean it will crash at -110. so i leave it at -095 and it works perfect that way

I haven't really went above -0.150mv, bc when I set it to -0.150 sometimes I would see bsod randomly, like in every 2-3 days. If i set it to -0.140 it works flawlessly, other then the fact that i come across a bsod every once in a while (like 2 weeks). I don't know, it might not be caused by uv, it's very random.

What's interesting that i never come across bsod on -0.130. So, I use it with -0.130 which seems to be the perfect sweetspot for my 6700hq.

I've been testing on -0.180v since yesterday with no problems yet, but I'm sure something will give.
