How to enable Earphone and Mic to work together (Desktop G11CD)

I just bought a Desktop G11CD from the recent SITEX.

I am using the Apple iPhone earpod on the front panel plugged into the headphone port. I can listen to audio but unable to get the mic to work simultaneously.

Who has the solution. Please give clear step by step instructions. Thx.

I found the solution. I was using an iPhone earpod with an audio/mic splitter cable, it didn't work. I have to use an Asus earphone with the audio/mic splitter cable, then it works. It's a compatibility issue with the iPhone earpod.

I also had a bad experience with using G11CD.
Have chosen this PC cause it looked really good in comparison with the similar models.

But actually, it is not as described. Only details given were that the box the PC ships in had cosmetic damage. The PC looks great cosmetically but there are no manuals, no software keys, cd's nothing. The PC turns on but doesn't even load up saying it cannot complete windows installation because there is no way to install it.
