    ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming AURA

Does anyone have any experience with using this board and if the XMP profile works?

I have read a lot of reviews on this mobo's non-AURA version (ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming) about XMP issues with overclocking RAM and the PC not booting up with XMP enabled.

I was wondering if the AURA version also has these problems?

I plan to pair the board with an i7 6700k and the G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) 3000Mhz RAM.

MajinOme, I don't have this particular board but most every board can and does have issues with XMP profiles, there are so many memory kits and manufacturers change the brand of chips on their modules for various reasons without notice it's just impossible for every kit to work every time with every possible combination of hardware, you should not have issues with that kit, but if you do they should be fairly easy to rectify
