Hi all,

All of a sudden from yesterday (after I went out to have a run), I turned on my ROG and realized that my USB 3.0 ports don't support any of the USB 2.0 devices. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it???

Here is what I tried:

Troubleshooting Steps:
1) Tried plug 3 different usb 2.0 flash drives in the USB 3.0 port. Not Responsive.
2) Tried plug my iphone in the USB 3.0 port. Not Responsive.
3) Tried plug my ipad in the USB 3.0 port. Not Responsive.
4) Tried plug microsoft 360 wireless game control receiver in the USB 3.0 port. Not Responsive.

5) Tried plug in usb 3.0 flash drive in the USB 3.0 port. Responsive.
6) Tried plug in usb 3.0 portable hard drive in the USB 3.0 port. Responsive.
7) Tried plug in usb 3.0 external dvd/cd driver in the USB 3.0 port. Responsive.

😎 Restored system state to Oct,02,2016. The situation still persists.
9) Reset and restore power option. The situation still persists.


THE ABOVE WAS 2 MONTHS AGO. I talked to the ASUS support and they asked me to send in my notebook for repaire. So i did. And then 1 month later, this situation occured AGAIN!!!!!! So I tired the above again and as you can guess it, It wouldn't work!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS MODEL????
