Updated Bios to 3402 Questions
Hi Eveyone
Problem Decription Windows 10 64bit is unexpectidley shutting down and restarting back to desktop, its as if it looses power then restarts by itself back to desktop?
Recently I decsided to update my Bios to 3402 everything seems to be working okay no problems at booting up to desktop
However I tend to troubleshoot from the point of what changed to cause a problem this problem only recently started I cannot see the bios having something to do with this however ill ask the question anyway see if there is something.
Back to the problem this problem has only happened 3 times and its rare occriances, PLease note I have checked up on system tempatures CPU, and Graphics GPU tempature with corsair Link and core temp software both programs are showing Normal system temps of 32 c to 58 c when my graphics have been in use, Ive cleaned all intake and outtake fans.
Is there any problem that you guy can see from the info I have provided, is their a bug with Bios 3402 that could be causing this, all of my computing equipment is only a year old I just hope that not my PSU on its way out I would be very upset (Corsair 1500i PSU) the only other thing i can think of is the water block over cpu (Corsair 100i GTX Water Cooler). Im hoping its mearly a windows 10 Bug

try the bios at default and don't enable XMP, XMP sometimes needs voltage tweaks to hold stable.
I had random shutdowns when my PC was left alone, turned out to be under volting RAM setting caused all sorts of issues in my Log files.
only an idea to try.

for a short time try windows power options to High performance, helps eliminate your SSD park/suspend modes. windows doesn't default settings for SSD'd. this sometimes causes your drive to Holt causing restarts as SSD's don't park. (lots on Google to set correctly for SSD)
Latter Bios changes made better support for SSd'd. although what looks obvious windows 10 is very good at driver recovery and unlike previous windows crash/bluescreens are usually down to hardware incompatibility or power loss at S stage.
double check all the PC is venting correctly and build up of dust is removed to prevent over heating of any component.
could be something simple or be prepared to spend some cash, good luck getting sorted out. PC like Women dammed if I now LOL.

Can you pleasegive me the best Stable Bios Revision for Asus Rampage V Extreme MB and Am i able to go back to ealier Bios rev or is my system going keep trying revert back to the most updated i.e 3402 rev.
my Bios to 3402 , Problem Decription some times when playing a game or at system idle I am now getting unexpeced shutting down and restarting back to desktop or the so called system doing a Hard Reset, its as if it looses power then restarts by itself back to desktop?
PLease note I have checked up on system tempatures CPU, and Graphics GPU tempature with corsair Link and core temp software both programs are showing Normal system temps of 32 c to 58 c when my graphics have been in use, Ive cleaned all intake and outtake fans.
I have done a lot of reasearch and I have descuvered that Bios Rev 3402 has something in comment with rev 3XXX Bios the System is Hard Reseting by it self And Im starting to get pritty pissed off with this, So Can Someone recommend A very Good Bios Revision pleases that does not have this problem And can I flash back to older Bios Revisions.
The Following link shows where i did my reasearch https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...ight=bios+3402
