    1) Yep your ram is running a little over 3200MHz which is fine.

    2) If 4.2GHz is stable with 1.18v this is good but for 4.5GHz you will have to increase the cpu core voltage for stability, I will suspect you will need around 1.25v - 1.30v for 4.5GHz which as you know increasing the voltage increases the temps.

You have a very good cooler and should easily handle 1.25v - 1.30v and possibly up to 1.40v, you should be able to do 4.6GHz rather easily. Don't let cpu temps go over 90c when stress testing and max temp when gaming is 64c but I don't feel uncomfortable running mine at 70c while playing games.

1.52v is the max safe voltage if you can keep temps under control.

    I have my 6700k running at 4.75GHz with 1.50v.

Hey which voltage my CPU voltage? currently i sit it finally at 1.2v for 4.2GHZ stock CPU clock with DRAM OC to 3200mhz on 1.35v

it was auto and it was feeding the cpu above 1.35v to 1.45v. ! and i changed it manually. now my temp is way too low 55c when over load and playing games and for some games like forza horizon 3 CPU temp is 52c only. room temp is above 25c no AC on.

evverythig else is default/auto. if this is too high please tell me what shall i do then? as if i lower then 1.2v for 4.2ghz PC crash sometime in overload.

RAM OC not using XMP. just as below

Set you voltage to manual and you have headroom to OC more. Many have your chip at 4.6GHz. Your temps at 55C under load are excellent.
You can raise the CPU Core voltage to have better stability but don't go over 1.38- 1.4V if you want the chip to last.
You should conduct a proper stress test to see if your system is stable. Realbench is the ultimate real world stress tester and if you can pass that then your 24/7 stable.

    Hi All,

Thanks for all for your replies. This is my final setup; is it fine or any comments or advice if this setup dose make sense. I did not OC the CPU not sure if that really will give big difference in gaming as my games run smooth on fps 100 to 200 already? or shall I OC it little along with the DRAMS ? I'm concerns on temp and I don't want to go above 55c since I want to keep my PC running on Silent Mod and Fans or cooling system is not noisy running around 50%.

I run Realbench for 15min temp 55c. Also I used my PC for gaming for hrs - BF1, Forza Horizon 3, dota 2 and many other games played for hrs even tried to run 3 games at same time, switch between them no stability issue or lag noticed. - PC temp max on gaming 53c) no crash or stability issue noticed. unlocked FPS 100fps to 200fps

    • CPU is on stock turbo boost skylake 4.2Ghz @ 1.200v
    • DRAM 3200Mhz ( Using XMP DDR4-3200 16-18-18-36-1.35v)

    Thanks.

Well it seems you are stable at your current settings RazerWaleed and good performance when gaming.
Be happy with what you have and enjoy your system. You can experiment with higher OCs as all enthusiasts do however, keep a saved profile in Bios in case things go belly up.

    XMP did the trick

    Hi Everyone,

I can confirm that going into EzMode (F7) in BIOS, and turning on XMP correctly detected my XMP DDR-3200 with 16-18-18-36-1.344V settings. Thanks for this tip!
