Also, Intel Virtualization Technology is disabled by default, while in the 2202 it is set to "Enable". Please enable it

What are you talking about? A BIOS file has nothing to do with OS . Try to learn something about computers before posting nonsense.

It randomly hung since the first BIOS version for me. I just gave up using it and used the manual configuration instead, from the Monitor tab.

Asus, please, revert that back and disable it by default.

    2202 BIOS:

    3007 BIOS:

How can you tell that it's enabled by default? It doesn't show it's enabled or disabled. It's just gone, and a nice touch from ASUS. No one uses it and so ASUS removed the feature. But that doesn't mean it's enabled (or disabled) You are guessing. And It doesn't have any effect on the boot time. My machine boots excactly as fast as BIOS 2207 .

No, I'm just telling you that BIOS has nothing to do with OS. You can update BIOS without OS installed. Motherboard manufactures do that frequently to have their motherboards up to date. BIOS is hardware (chip) and not software related. If you don't know, BIOS stands for Basic Input/Output System. BIOS has NEVER had anything to do with OS. BIOS is generally a Chip on the motherboard which can be written to. Nothing else. There is NO connection to OS. Only thing is BIOS is written to a file and via USB/Internet, written to the BIOS chip.

No hangs or other problems with 3007 QFan, automatic fan configuration works as expected.

It's all in how you deliver that message though. Your initial response came off as needlessly rude and abrasive. The last sentence was entirely unnecessary. Perhaps you do not realize it but many of your posts have sounded that way and you have offended multiple people. Please try to be a bit less condescending and understand that we have people of multiple skill levels on this forum.
