Yes there Is a known issue with the left side USB 3.0 ports they'll work fine for USB 2.0 Right ports should work great for USB 3.0 I just use a right angle cable

i v similar prob 2 mine right side port only see flash data steak not see other device.i try update but cant fix 2.i can only use 3 usb port 1 is not working

my idea laptop can get good enerji 2 usb ports and 1 of them is not workıng.b i cont mouse it needs enerji and dont work,con mause it needs enerji dont work,con usb data it needs min enerji and it works.

Go to Device manager, find the USB host Uninstall every thing USB 3.0 and Main USB. Reboot that should reinstall all the USB drivers 2.0 and 3.0 there all windows native drivers these days. If this doesn't work you may have a hardware problem?

I'm not sure if it's the right place but I'm writing first here... I have very strange problem on my G752VS-XB72K OC Edition - one of the USB ports just stopped recognising USB 2.0 devices and it's happen just like this. The port is on the right side (closest to the power cord), I've been using both right ports for connecting mouse and keyboard and before days my keyboard just stopped working. The port is not working with any 2.0 devices but with 3.0 is working just fine ! It's not working even before Windows is loaded ( in BIOS ). The problem is just with this one port, the other 3 are OK (the other 4 if you count the type C as well ). I thought it may be BIOS problem so I re-flashed the BIOS and even downgraded but nothing changed. Now I can't use the right ports for keyboard and mouse and it doesn't make any sense. I tested the port voltage and it's fine, working normal with USB 3.0 external 2.5" HDDs but not working with any 2.0 device. I don't really understand what happened. If you have any idea how to fix this issue will be appreciated. Thank You !

Yes this would be the right place. You can try to turn off charger Plus that may help, it really sounds like a hardware issue damaged socket or MB problem, which would require a RMA to service dept. to fix. Driver or BIOS problems would effect both sockets on the right side not just one
