Displayport Alt-Mode on GL502VS USB-C port

I purchased a GL502VS recently and have been looking at connectivity solutions for it when its at home. Ideally I'd like to just have a power connection and everything else through USB-C (mouse, keyboard, monitor,usb peripherals, etc). Does the USB-C port on the GL502VS support displayport alt mode so I can connect to my 1080P monitor at 60hz?*

don't think so. it's just a plain 'dumb' usb-c port.

the only usb-c's with dp alt mode are the ones with thunderbolt.

If you're in USA, you can buy dp adapter and then return it if it doesn't work.
