GL752 Battery Indicator Blinking GREEN

Hello
so today I reinstalled Windows and while installing it I noticed that the battery indicator kept blinking even if it was turned on. I thought it was normal but then after finishing Windows installation and all the drivers it still kept blinking. I unplugged it and the blinking continues. The laptop does charge since I left it to discharge from 99% to 80% plugged it back just to see if it charges.
Battery life seems to be normal too. Any ideas?

Update: After letting the battery drain completely, and recharging it, it seems to be working again.

well it seems like it's working well, because I have reinstalled the OS yesterday,again and now it seems like it's working like charm again and the battery indicator didn't blink anymore.
But I'm still curious what could cause this, is it something with my battery? It's not even a year old yet, so that's pretty strange.
