Hehe not 1.5v Vcore
Yeah I meant 0.160 on Vcore and I've now got 0.180 on extra voltage in offset mode for CPU. I never go above 1.35V Vcore! I don't have that much extra money to buy a new CPU! This is on a 5960x. Now that my system seems stable I'm going to try to OC my RAM to 2666 from 2400 and tighten up timings. Looking forward to seeing what AIDA will benchmark it at.

I have also flashed the new BIOS 3501 , the 3x BIOS line never worked for me realy BUT this time all my tests where good , no random restarst so fare wile working or gaming!
I have in the moment more or less Standard default , just VT.Technik on, CSM off , and so little things but no OC´s and looks good so fare , before the only one what was working was 2101 , well Done then from ASUS :-) ! I used the USB Flash metode and then CLR CEMOS buttun , and then "load optimized defaults" , Here i had 2 restart in the update prozess ... hmm ... 2 or 3 i am not shure in the moment , but so fare no trouble at all , no USB controler drop downs , no random restarts , now the secound day good so fare :-) Thanks a lot to the programmer NOW i like my updated Computer AGAIN ! :-D

Yeah, it's an amazing feeling to get your computer working properly again, I've had this problem for around 4-5 months while continuously testing and trying different things. It's pretty ridiculous to be honest as this is a high end motherboard which costs a lot of money, you would think random restarts to be the least common problem with this. We shouldn't have to put up with this, the cheapest motherboard on the market probably would not get random reboot issues and getting it from a super expensive motherboard is ridiculous. I can't say Asus have been very supportive over this period, it's taken them 8 months since 2101 (which was stable for me) to come up with a working (i think) solution with 3501. But I guess there's nothing we can do apart from reporting it to Asus, raising awareness and discussing on here.
Happy new year guys!

Ah same as mine then. With overclocking and doing many tests over a period of 1-2 months. I've managed to get my system at 4.3ghz at 1.3v and ram at 2666mhz, that is the most highest I can overclock after really fine tuning things. The memory controller on the 5820k is known to be pretty weak compared to the higher ones according to online reviews. I'm quite surprised that you can get above 2666mhz on older bios's, which bios was you able to get higher? It might be worth a shot for me. Do you have your CPU overclocked too? My RAM is the Corsair dominators they are rated XMP at 3200mhz however as I've mentioned can only get 2666mhz out of them.

Adaptive voltage issue
Been having an issue with this latest BIOS. While using adaptive voltage, the voltage will not increase past 1.2v, causing me much instability and headache.
Using AIDA I can see that voltage is above 1.2v when set to manual. Has anyone else noticed this? I might return to 3402 until this is fixed.

This 3501 bios still cannot allow my 5820K to go beyond DDR2400 at 1.21v DDRV.
Am i limited by my memory sticks or 5820K just have trouble with >DDR2400, and i need Broadwell-e for higher memory speeds.
Granted quad channel memory at 2400 already beat Skylake and Canonlake dual channel.
