Hi Everyone

I purchased the Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard I have viewed the compatible memory sheet, Also My CPU is Intel Extreme 5960x 3.0GHZ 8 core, I am looking for ram module about 3000mhz that works fine with the Intel 5960x Cpu.

Specification
Windows 10 64bit
Asus Rampage V Edition 10
Intel 5960x CPU
Ram to be descided =
2 x ZOLTAC GTX 1080 SLI Graphics
512 GB Samsung Pro 840 SSD = (OS Windows 10 64Bit)
1 TB Western Digital Velociraptor Hard drive = (Storage Drive)
Corsair 1500i PSU
Corsair 100i GTX Water Cooler

I have had this kit F4-3000C15Q-16GRR run very well on that combination and currently have this F4-3200C14Q-32GVK
which is running equally well...G.Skill making very good RAM for this platform...

Okay Ive been thinking long and hard about this witch ram set do you guys recommened hwat the best set to go for see below

8 GBx2 ? Is that last set even a quad channel kit? :S

Are these listed in the qualified vendors section of your manual?

Both sets of Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 3200 Mhz Ram kits worked with mine. I had the "Asus ROG edition with the red LED and red bars" and the "Blackout Special edition" The first is a 4x4 16gb combo and the second is a 4x8 32gb combo.

I found both of these worked better than the 2800Mhz versions, mainly because I could use the 100Mhz block rather than that 125Mhz.

I use the Corsair CMK64GX4M4B3000C15 set. Works excellent. I use the XMP profile, then adjust the CPU Strap to 100MHz, and the command rate to 1. No issues. They are also incredibly low profile, which is good, considering the size of the air cooler I'm using.

Okay I have went for G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series F4-3200C16D-16GVK 16 GB (8 GBx2) DDR4 3200 MHz C16 1.35 V Memory Kit, it has compatibility with Intel Z170 Platform / Intel X99 Platform. This is not in the motherboard qualified vendors list

on the manufauters website it state daul channel support, I hope ill be able bye another pair exact same and put them in, if not then they will be going straight back to amazion
