No 1080 ti *released at CES 2017 !, we can buy a self driving car that drives around car parks ! Or can we ?, we can buy a device the plugs into power points so we can talk to walls ! & no need to buy hi end gaming products any more, just pay Nvidia $10 a week for GeForce Now, a service that lets anybody play games on their PC without the necessary hardware by streaming them from remote GPU !!!, thanks*Jen-Hsun well done.

The GTX 1080 Ti had been sorely missed at NVIDIA’s CES announcement after what seemed like an anticlimactic reveal to the grand countdown. The reason for this was simple, NVIDIA had originally planned to show the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti to the crowd but decided to skip it since it did not seem like AMD was going to be showing Vega after all. The source of today’s news is the website the tech buyer’s guide and their interview with the employee of an NVIDIA board partner.

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will be landing around PAX East with multiple AIB variants including MSI, GIGABYTE
In what appears to be a textbook case of game theory applied to the two chip manufacturers, NVIDIA has pushed back the date of release to put some more polish on the GTX 1080 Ti as they wait for AMD to make a move and enjoy a couple more months of GTX 1080 holding the performance crown uncontested. That said, sources are now saying that the company will be showing the card around PAX East, which is to be held on March 10-12, 2017.

According to nVidia themselves, yes: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080-ti

GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards, including the NVIDIA Founders Edition, will be available worldwide — across 238 countries and territories — from NVIDIA GeForce partners, including ASUS, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, iGame, Innovision 3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac, starting March 10th at 10am. Prices, including those for the NVIDIA Founders Edition, start at $699. Pre-orders on the NVIDIA webstore begin March 2nd at 8am PT.

Question is now if Asus is even ready to drop a card onto the market.*

about time, something like the poseidon series would be good

From reading the press releases on this and simply reading between the lines......they dont have it working yet! Cant even run more than 2 1080s in SLI at this point, not that Id want to as the ones I have are stupid fast. Its nice to do 3D marks Firestrike Ultra and see "Better than 99% of all results"

Launching GTX1080Ti before Vega could be risky if NVIDIA is not sure how Radeon perform.
They need to decide about number of CUDA, clock and price.
Maybe AMD have card barely slower than TITAN Pascal.
