Hero alpha wifi cooling

johnb0822

Just completed my first Hero Alpha build.
Everything seems to be working except, when copying files to/from the machine via the Wifi connection, the connection is lost periodically.
I found that I can greatly improve the situation by turning the fans up to their maximum speed, which suggests to me that my current configuration is not getting enough airflow past the wifi chip.
I can see several options.
One is to spot-cool the wifi--can someone point out the location of that particular chip on the board?
The other is to go to a different style of cooler--right now I'm using a Noctual NH-D15S, which has the fan mounted perpendicular to the board. I'm thinking a cooler that blows down toward the board instead might provide additional cooling for components on the board.
Third option--case is a Fractal R5--two fans in front, one in back, room for three on top and two on the bottom--perhaps filling one of those slots?
Or maybe I'm just missing something obvious.
Any ideas?

Thanks.
