- i5 2500K 4.5 Ghz.
- 8 Go G.Skill Sniper CAS7.
- Maximus IV Gene-Z (902).

Hey Dennis welcome my friend.

When the error happens has your CPU been powered down? Or maybe the power switched off at the socket.

What it sounds like is that the bios is retraining the ram settings each time and while your overclock might be stable (99%) the possibility exists that you are on the edge of stability with your ram.

Are you running 4 x 2GB sticks or 2 x 4GB sticks?

Could you list what your voltages are for the main settings please.

Hello HiVizMan,

Thank you for your help.

I use a 2 x 4 GB kit for my RAM, and I made every X.M.P in the BIOS.

For voltages, I use :

VCORE: Offset @ +0.25v
- PLL overvoltage On
- CPU PLL : 1.8v
- VCCSA : stock
- VCCIO : stock
- PCH : stock
- RAM : 1.6v

- Load Line Calibration: high
- VRM Frequency: 350 Mhz
- Phase Control: Standar
- CPU Current Capability: 100%

stock : I took the default and I put them manually (not auto).

That was very sensible to manually enter them. I have an distrust of auto settings 🙂

Increase your VCCIO by one or two notches. And that should do the trick.

LLC does not need to be so high, unless without that setting your system becomes unstable under load. If that is the case then your offset can be increased somewhat.

Oh what is your overclock by the way?

The VCCIO voltage is 1.065v which value you advise me?

I overclock with the BIOS, and I do my testing with Prime95 and OCCT.

Increase your VCCIO two notches up. And test using memtest.

If the ram passes all good. If there are errors increase one more notch up.

Post back here if there are errors running memtest and what test the errors were in.

Ok I will perform the tests tonight, by cons I have another question about a "small" problem.

When I reboot, I have Intel Boot Agent that is activated, and my network card pass 82579V => 82579LM, while in the BIOS options I have disabled the PXE.

Same thing happens with my MIVE-z
I just flashed a new UEFI 1004 that was just released.
Mayby its fixed?
Time will tell

I increase the voltage a notch VCCIO and the PCH.

After 2 Pass Memtest86 +, there was no error.

Outstanding you are making progress.

Now the proof of our success will be if you have no problems after a cold boot yeah?
