    Hope the new one stays solid. *Also I bought that fusion Display port 1.3 cable we were talking about in the other thread and i'll tell you it's the nicest cable I think I have ever seen. for $34 USD.

    that is not a bright pixel, as it is not a pixel that is causing the abnormal brightness. *it is more likely a fault in the diffuser layer, where in that particular small area, it is allowing more backlight through.

    Hi guys i have same problem with my pg278q. I have same kind bright spots but there are 3 of them. Monitor is 2.5 years old but still has waranty on it. Should i make RMA?

    warranty doesn't cover 3 bright pixels between 12 and 36 months, only 4 and above.

    Contact Asus Support and they will have you send pictures to determine if it is eligible for replacement or repair. Just tell them your issue and they will help you figure it out. They might be rude about it though

    Done it. Gave em the picture etc. They said ok, but im still thinking that if they just repair old one and gona bill me for it somehow. They said that new one will come when pick up for the old one going to be. But still im a bit sceptical how its gona be.

    Yes they said that i need to send it to them. My screen flickers black sometimes and i think its not normal too.
