Can i start my ASUS Maximus VIII Ranger motherboard without LN2 jumper. And for what is the LN2 mode jumper.

The LN2 jumper is used only for extreme OCs using Liquid Nitrogen.
Because Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) pushes component temperatures so low, semiconductors behave differently, causing sluggish electron transfer. The switch allows for a program on the timing circuit to compensate for this.
You should not use it and the system would probably fail to boot.

My question was can i start the motherboard without the little part that i should place on the LN2 jumper.
