Manual voltage, offset or adaptiv mode?

Hi guys,

I've read lots of different options about the right overclocking mode for core voltage.

Right now I run my 6850k at 4,4 GHz with 1.34 core voltage at fixed manual. Is this voltage fine to stay fixed on for longtime?

What do you guys recommand? What additional settings do I have to adjust? Also in order to save power?

Thanks,
ALex

Hi Alexauwa

To save power you'll want to run in adaptive mode, this will throttle the cpu speed and voltage when at idle.

Yours should be similar to my maximus viii formula and 6700k. Set the CPU Core voltage to Adaptive then enter in 1.34v in the"Additional Turbo Mode cpu core voltage override"

Make sure speedstep is enabled, the c - states are enabled and the windows power plan is set to balanced.

Is your cpu throttling speed and voltage after doing this ?
