I recently upgrade my asus g752VY geforce driver to 376.33 and when my laptop isn't plugged in, the fps will limit itself to 30 FPS. Anyone also have this problem?

It isn't a problem, it is an nvidia setting. If you open the GeForce Experience program you can set it to limit the fps while running on the battery to save battery life. You can turn this off from there.

Edit: Specifically from Settings > Games

Somebody else asked this on here very recently and I gave them the exact same advice.
