Water Cooling with Maximus VIII Hero Alpha

I installed an Arctic Liquid Cooler 120 with my Maximus VIII Hero Alpha. I plugged the pump onto the pump header. The two fans are piggybacked and plugged onto the CPU header.

Should I use one fan with the CPU header and the other on the CPU_OPT header?

Also, how can I make it so the cooling boots to Standard? Right now it always boots to Full Speed.

Hi vidguys

As long as both fans don't exceed 1 amp you can let them both connected to the cpu fan header and set it to PWM, it's probably a good idea to let the pump run at 100%.
