According to my GPU temp monitor, under heavy load (playing RIFT and sometimes BF3), temperatures are reaching 85-90 degrees celcius. Room temperature is somewhere between 20 and 28 degrees (I really have no idea) and although it can drop when I turn the AC on, it doesn't seem to affect my GPU temperatures (even though it's aiming right at it from the other side of the room).
I've had bad experiences with laptops being damaged by overheating and I'm worried about losing this one over the same issue.
I've been looking at a few cooling pads and I've narrowed down my options to these two:
Cooler Master Notepal X2

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004G603E2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DERI read somehwere that the X2 probably wont do the job, and that I should go for the SF19. Is it really worth the money? How is the 3.0 different from the 2.0 regarding effectiveness? Any other suggestions? Am I being too paranoid about the high temps?
