I've got a Maximus X Hero that supports USB 3.1 gen 2 but what devices can send data at 10 GB/Sec? I have an old 840 EVO in an enclosure, but that is a SATA III drive and will only support 6 GB/sec.

USB Type c, Thunder Bolt 3 devices, drives, monitors, TV's coming soon, cell phone's can be charged at a faster rate, otherwise it is back words compatible with any USB device with an adapter at up to 5 Gb/sec, same as any other USB 3.1 ports that use Type A connection
