hi! so i recently moved and my adapter got lost in the mail, so i'm looking where i can buy a replacement one. i had a newer model of the g20aj, here are some specs:
ASUS G20AJ I7-4790/8/1/960/8/G

i don't have the exact model number or specs because i can't turn it on obviously, and am not with my computer at the moment. the adapter it did have looked like this: http://assets.hardwarezone.com/img/2015/04/asus-rogg20-power-brick_1.jpg
i've been looking for adapters but i'm not sure of the exact one to buy. i'm not the best at computer stuff, so any help would be appreciated.
(also, i did contact asus and they can't replace it unless i send in the old one..but i can't because its lost. lol)

That picture shows both the 180W and 230W power adapters in the special OEM ASUS holder. You can get both power adapters off of eBay but I don't think you can find one of those holders anywhere (If you do, let me know. I'd like one too). At any rate here are a couple links:

thanks for showing me which ones to get! i do have a few more questions.
will i need both adapters to run my computer? or can i only use one? i'm guessing i'll need both.

It appears that both of those will work.

Needing both power supplies is all dependent on the graphics card that is installed. High power graphics cards need more power and the 230W will be dedicated to them with the 180W for the rest of the computer. In my G20AJ I have the 2GB GTX750. This is supposedly a low power card and the 230W power supply can handle both it and the computer so I only need one. As far as I know the 230W is the minimum you can use. I don't believe the 180W can handle the whole lot.

Seeing as your G20AJ came with both I would have to assume you have a high power graphics card.

thanks for your help! i ordered the 180w from the ebay link you ordered and the 230w from the amazon one i found. i should get them early next week.
