    Hi ASUS-OP,

What about the G752VT as there is conflicting information on the Asus website.

The Global webpage for the G752VT says 40Gbit/s

    https://www.asus.com/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-G752VT/

The UK webpages for the G752VT say 20Gbit/s

    https://www.asus.com/uk/Laptops/ROG-G752VT/
    https://www.asus.com/uk/ROG-Republic...rs/ROG-G752VT/

    Thanks.

    G752VT should be 40Gbit/s.
    Website will be correctly shortly.

And what about the other models .... ?

    G752VL / VY ? Are these able to work at 40Gbit/s ?

Global link for G752VL states 40Gbp/s
    https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-G752VL/

    US link states 20Gbp/s
    https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ROG-G752VL/

This is the same for the G752VY pages, both pages differ with the Thunderbolt 3 details.

Hello, ASUS-OP. Isn't it a scam, that on website you state 40 gb/s (https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-GL702VM/) and compatibility with station (https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards-...-XG-STATION-2/) while in reality it gives only half speed and therefore not usable for its intended purpose?

BTW, ASUS technical support stated that they have no idea what speed is between ASUS rog xg station 2 and ASUS ROG gl702vm (ticket RWTM20170512223705251-8711). How is it even possible that ASUS doesn't know what it's producing and marketing?

I previously pointed out that the G752VY websites offered contradictory information ages ago and was told they would be updated. So if they are still the same I wouldn't hold your breathe.

Asus should produce a utility that identifies the speed of the TB3 port and controller. In fact a utility to determine compatibility with the XG Station 2 would be even better. Then people can make an informed decision on whether it's worth buying.

Is there any official information from ASUS on IF the XG Station 2 is going to be available in North America?

According to this article, there are no current plans to sell it in the US: http://www.laptopmag.com/articles/as...2-graphics-amp

    Hi ImDez,

Where did you see the GL702VM say it it using JHL6240? My last reply is purely on the controller spec. GL702VM should feature 40Gbit/s controller.

    regards,

    Hi BoutTime01,

Yes, the page was getting updated, and I just found the only page received the correction was the Taiwan site. I have passed on the request for correction for Thunderbolt 3 spec on the G752VY along side the correction for G752VT.

    regards,
