PG278QR Red Light.

Hi,

So I just bought a new pg278qr and I'm really happy with it in every way apart from the GSYNC red light!!! It is always on, apart from sometimes when my computer has been on standby for a while it works as intended. Is this a driver issue or a monitor issue? It's new I don't know whether to change it or not. I read that lots of people have this problem with PG278Q but I was hoping it was fixed with the new version.

Anyone have this problem?
Anyone not have this problem?

I'm running a GTX 1080...

My red light is always on also. Which means Gsync is always on (if you have both full screen and windowed ticked off)
I read that it is due to new drivers, they make Gsync always stay on.
I dont think its a bad thing ?
PS- im using a PG279Q though

Well the program setting for individual games in nvidia control panel work. Just the red light is on all the time.

Strange how it works perfectly some times though....
