    Question Is this SSD compatible??

I'm doing some changes with my system My MB is a Rampage V Edition 10.

One of item I'd like to change out is my Samsung SSD (MZHPU512HCGL), I'd like to upgrade it to a 1TB SSD: Intel SSDPEKKW010T7X. Its PCI-Express 3.0x4

I've made the mistake before when I purchased an m.2 ssd and it was not compatible with my motherboard.

Can anyone tell me if the Intel SSDPEKKW010T7X compatible with the Edition 10 motherboard??

    Thanks

    Rich

Beware of your PCIe lane configuration. That's all you have to keep in mind !

Any particular reason you are going with this drive when the speed standard is twice as fast with the 960 pro? Actually every Samsung M2 NVMe is faster, even the older ones.

Thanks for the confirmation, I didn't want to get something that I could not use (like I did with another non-pcie ssd)

    Why this one??
I want the storage.... and the cost is reasonable.... the savings will allow me to get other needed items
