Welcome to the forums!
If you didn't know already, the GL552VW model can use 2 different types of motherboards to support either 'SATA' or 'PCIE' M.2 SSDs (the same GL552VW motherboard cannot support both types unfortunately), so you want to figure out which type your notebook/motherboard supports first before considering the other issues.
If you don't see a sticker under your notebook to indicate this, you may want to check with your store or local ASUS support for help to identify which type of M.2 SSD is supported for your unit, or you can send me a private message at cl-Albert with your serial number if you wish.
Check the thread below for more information or try searching the ROG forums if you prefer.

Hope this makes sense and helps!Last edited by cl-Albert@ROG; 02-20-2017 at 10:55 PM.
